ASAP will host two collaborative meetings on July 24-28, 2023, in San Diego, California, and October 1-5, 2023, in London, England.
Each meeting will include a mix of primary investigators (PIs), trainees, and project managers (PMs) with representation from all 35 Collaborative Research Network (CRN) teams.
The goals of these meetings are to:
- Provide opportunities to engage the broader CRN across different levels of training
- Promote the cross-fertilization of ideas across the CRN and ASAP-supported resource programs (GP2, PPMI, and iNDI-PD)
- Discuss controversial topics and emerging themes in the PD landscape
To preview the scientific topics that will be discussed at both meetings, please see the skeleton agendas.
Now Open: Abstract Submissions
To provide early-career investigators with more opportunities to engage with the network, students and trainees are encouraged to submit an abstract for the ASAP Collaborative Meeting Series. Note that, due to venue capacity limitations, trainees will participate in a competitive, open abstract submission process to determine attendance. Each ASAP team has been allotted a maximum of five (5) total trainee attendance slots (3 for the San Diego meeting; 2 for the London meeting).
Click here to start the submission process. Please submit your abstract (maximum 300 words) by December 12, 2022!
Invited trainees will be assigned to give a poster presentation or offered a data blitz talk in addition to a poster presentation. Trainees will be notified of their acceptance, meeting location, and if they were chosen for a poster presentation or a data blitz talk by January 23, 2023.
