Mukesh Kumar, PhD
Mukesh Kumar is a postdoctoral associate in the lab of Prof. . Timothy A. Ryan at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York. He studied molecular motors and their role in lipid homeostasis during the fed-fasting cycle as a graduate student with Prof. Roop Mallik at TIFR, Mumbai, India.He is currently trying to understand the molecular mechanisms for energy homeostasis at the synaptic terminals. He received several awards, like TNQ Inspiring Science Award, Sarojini Damodaran Fellowship etc during his PhD.
