Thomas Beach, MD, PhD

Thomas Beach, MD, PhD, received his undergraduate from the University of Victoria, and his MD and PhD degrees from the University of British Columbia. He is a board-certified neuropathologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Canada. Dr. Beach has been a senior scientist and Institute neuropathologist at the Banner Sun Health Research Institute since 1997 and is the director of the Brain and Body Donation Program and Civin Laboratory for Neuropathology. Dr. Beach is also a director of the Arizona Study of Aging and Neurodegenerative Disorders, a 25-year longitudinal clinicopathological study unique for its median 3-hour postmortem interval for all 2,000 cases.
