Catalog

ASAP is committed to accelerating the pace of discovery and informing a path to a cure for Parkinson’s disease through collaboration, research-enabling resources, and data sharing. We’ve created this catalog to showcase the research outputs and tools developed by ASAP-funded programs.

Protocol

Free-floating immunofluorescence protocol on mouse brain sections for tau pathology

This protocol describes the free-floating multiplexed immunofluorescent staining protocol to ascertain levels of tau and phospho-tau in mouse tissue from transplanted human iPSC cells carrying different PD-related mutations.

Protocol

Preparation of human iPSC-derived cortical neuronal progenitors for transplantation into the rodent brain

This protocol describes how the authors prepare human iPSC-derived cells, that have been differentiated into cortical neuronal progenitors, for transplantation into the brain of immunocompromised athymic mice. Neuronal progenitors mature within the mouse brain and are used to study the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease.
