Open Science Policy
ASAP requires funded grantees to adhere to our Open Science Policy, which consists of five major components.
Open Science is a set of principles that aim to make scientific knowledge openly available, accessible, and reusable in order to increase scientific collaboration and information sharing, with the goal of accelerating the pace of scientific discovery and innovation. At Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP), our vision is to facilitate a research environment where meaningful collaboration, research-enabling resources, and data sharing provide the answers we need to understand, diagnose, and treat Parkinson’s disease.
Promoting open science is at the core of all ASAP work. Our goal is that by openly sharing the knowledge and resources generated by ASAP, we accelerate discoveries to advance treatments and care.
ASAP requires funded grantees to adhere to our Open Science Policy, which consists of five major components.
