Highlights Overview

Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP) is pleased to share the impact that our initiative, network, and supported programs have had on providing new insights into Parkinson’s disease (PD) while offering opportunities to collaborate, generate resources, and share data. Together, we are uncovering novel discoveries and making progress toward our vision of advancing collaborative, transparent research processes and environments that deliver faster and better outcomes in PD research.

The findings and tools developed across ASAP-supported programs are helping to advance the Parkinson’s disease research field. Here, we share the latest ASAP news and perspectives across PD research and open science practices.

We aim to foster collaboration and discovery by supporting virtual and in-person events that facilitate connections and provide an avenue for sharing ideas.

We host the Discover ASAP video series, which spotlights findings and tools connected to the ASAP network, including datasets, code & software, protocols, and lab materials. The series is designed to accelerate discovery and increase awareness on ASAP-affiliated resources that can be utilized by the scientific community.

The ASAP initiative is a global, multi-institutional community of researchers who are committed to accelerating the pace of discovery in Parkinson’s disease through collaboration, generation of resources, and data sharing. Learn more about the people, labs, and teams who exemplify ASAP’s mission.

The ASAP initiative has four major objectives, which support our mission to accelerate discovery in Parkinson’s research. At the end of each year, ASAP takes a look back at the progress we’ve made towards our goals.

Advancing PD Research
