Ezgi Booth, PhD

Ezgi is a Project Manager at University of California, Berkeley. After completing her B.A in Microbiology from Ohio Wesleyan University where she studied disease transmission in mosquitoes as a Howard Hughes research intern, she received her Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Baylor College of Medicine. Her research focused on creating and analyzing genome wide microarrays to optimize mutant characterization. Over the past eight years, she has worked as a STEM educator, building interdisciplinary programs for K-12 settings where she has been recognized as the educator of the year, and received numerous grants.
