Janelle Drouin-Ouellet, PhD

Janelle Drouin-Ouellet, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal. She is combining direct neural reprogramming and induced pluripotent stem cell work to study the pathophysiology of PD, as well as working on developing direct glial reprogramming technologies to provide more complex patient derived cell-based systems with the aim of studying the age-associated pathophysiology of neurodegenerative disorders. She has trained with both Roger A. Barker at the University of Cambridge and Malin Parmar at Lund University.
