1981-84 June worked for French Connection, Quality Control, and then Shipping manager dealing with manufacturers, Customs and Excise and imports with shipping companies in addition to the company abroad. Wanted a less frivolous job. Worked for the Supplies Manager at the National Hospital in 1985, then Dept of Neuroimmunology in 1987. In 1990 onto Dept of Neurochemistry for 17 years during that time besides the usual PA duties for the Head of Dept, for 10 years handled the admin for “Neurology for Neuroscientists” with Magdalen College Oxford and did Academic work for the Neurometabolic Unit. During 2007 was seconded to Prof Mike Hanna whilst he was setting up the MRC Neuromuscular Centre. John Hardy took over (ongoing) on the retirement of John Clark. Has 35+ years of Admin experience.
