Johannes Jungverdorben, PhD

Johannes Jungverdorben, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist and program manager for Team Studer for ASAP at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He studied human iPSC-derived neuronal models of neurodegenerative diseases (namely Machado-Joseph disease/Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3) and focuses on protein homeostasis in diverse neuronal subtypes to uncover the selective vulnerability of neuronal subtypes amongst neurological disorders including Parkinson’s disease to drive the development of patient-specific tailored therapies.
