PD Functional Genomics

Clare is a Professor at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, The University of Melbourne. As a graduate student she studied compensatory mechanisms during PD progression and since then has focused her research on understanding and modelling neural development using stem cells. These stem cells have provided a valuable tool for her to improve the safety and efficacy of neural transplants, as more recently model and understand the disease.
