CRN Cloud
The Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s (ASAP) initiative recognizes that researchers’ ability to solve unanswered questions in Parkinson’s disease is only as strong as their ability to analyze the original data. We have developed the ASAP CRN Cloud to allow researchers to access, analyze, and share omics data, derived from both human and non-human models. These include transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics data, as well as iPSC, PBMC, CSF, immunology, and biomarker data.
Introducing the CRN Cloud
The CRN Cloud, which launched in June 2024, is a data-sharing and analysis toolset available to the entire research community. The CRN Cloud is a controlled-access platform designed to support collaboration and discovery. The CRN Cloud allows users to easily explore available datasets and metadata, and enables meta-analysis through Verily Viewpoint Workbench. The goal of this platform is to ensure that researchers all over the world can access, analyze, and share findings. Our aim is that the CRN Cloud will amplify the impact of this unique data by reducing data accessibility barriers, thereby promoting discovery in Parkinson’s disease research.

Training Videos
We have created a series of videos to help researchers access data on the CRN Cloud. Together, the videos provide more details about getting started on the platform, managing costs, advanced analysis, and more.
Thank You to Our Collaborators
The CRN Cloud was built in collaboration with The Michael J. Fox Foundation of Parkinson’s Research, Verily, DataTecnica, and DNAstack. ASAP shares a subset of CRN Cloud metadata with the Allen Institute’s Allen Brain Cell Atlas, where users can interactively explore and visualize it.
