Alastair Noyce, MRCP, PhD

Alastair is a Reader in Neurology and Neuroepidemiology at the Preventive Neurology Unit in the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine, Queen Mary University of London, and consultant neurologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, in the UK. Alastair graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2007. He pursued integrated training via the Foundation Academic Programme (2007-2009) and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship at UCL (2009-2012). In 2012, he undertook a PhD in neuroscience at UCL. In 2016, he received an MSc in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His main research interests are Parkinson’s disease (PD) and related neurodegenerative disorders, particularly early identification and epidemiology, including environmental, clinical, and genetic determinants, in diverse populations.
