Project Manager

Nina is a post-doctoral researcher at Agnete Kirkeby lab at the University of Copenhagen aiming to generate a cellularly complex, physiologically relevant model of PD in a dish. She has obtained her PhD from the University of Endiburgh, where she worked at the Anna Williams lab investigating hESC-derived oligodendroglial heterogeneity in vitro (2D, 3D) and in vivo (chimeras), as well as studying the effects of repurposed drugs have on human oligodendrocytes and myelination. During her MSc she also worked at the University of Edinburgh at Dies Meijer lab investigating physiologically relevant protein interactions that occur between neurons and glial cells during rodent PNS myelination.
