2020: A Year in Review
We’re looking back on another year of building on the significant strides of researchers, funders, and strategists around the world. We couldn’t be prouder to highlight our 2020 shared accomplishments in better understanding Parkinson’s disease, including:
- Awarding our 2020 grantees and bringing investigators across multiple disciplines, institutions, career stages, and geographies into ASAP’s collaborative research network, as well as developing tools to increase collaboration and open access to research
- Announcing new grant opportunities to expand funding to even more research projects that will strengthen our research network in the upcoming year
- Launching our GP2 program microsite where visitors can explore the milestones accomplished by GP2 working groups, receive training from the free online learning platform, read blogs from GP2 scientists, and access training and employment opportunities
- Debuting ASAP on Twitter and LinkedIn, which already have hundreds of followers since their launch in June
As we move forward with great optimism into the oncoming year, ASAP will continue to expand its efforts in fostering collaboration to better understand the underlying causes of Parkinson’s disease and inform the path to a cure.
