Aggregates of α-Synuclein (α-Syn) have been implicated in the pathogenesis of a spectrum of disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, multiple system atrophy, and dementia with Lewy bodies. These aggregates comprise misfolded α-Syn in the form of amyloid fibrils.
