Protocol for optogenetic open field test, which records mouse behavior in an open field arena in response to alternating 5-minute periods of optogenetic stimulation.
The Opto-Avoidance-Elevated Plus Maze test assesses the effect induced by photostimulation compared to a mouse's natural aversion to open areas.
