revious studies have developed methods for isolation of lysosomes, mitochondria, and peroxisomes from non-denaturing extracts. Here we describe an approach for purification of early/sorting endosomes, providing a means by which to examine early aspects of the endolysosomal system and to combine this with lysosome purification using Lyso-IP. We refer to this method as Endo-IP. This allows us to examine the proteome, lipidome, as well as electron microscopy imaging of endosomes.
