Morris Water Maze: Spatial Learning and Memory Assessment in Mice

Output Details

This protocol describes the Morris Water Maze (MWM) task for assessing hippocampus-dependent spatial learning and memory (hidden-platform acquisition and long-term retention) and working memory in adult mice. Mice are trained to locate a hidden platform using distal spatial cues, with probe trials conducted at the end of each working week to assess memory consolidation.
