sPAtial Neuronal Gene Expression Atlas (PANGEA) Application

Output Details

This is a server-free web application designed to visualize and analyze brain region gene expression data. PANGEA is a spatial neuronal gene expression atlas that shows neuronal gene expression from wild type mice in 302 brain regions and over 19,000 genes. The atlas was generated by GeoMx whole transcriptome atlas capture on segmented neurons identified by NeuN/HuC/HuD immunofluorescence signals, spatially registered with coronal brain sections from the Allen Brain Atlas. This atlas was utilized to understand how baseline expression levels in neurons may contribute to vulnerability to misfolded α-synuclein pathology, but has a wide diversity of potential applications for use by the community. PANGEA covers the regional expression of **19,781 genes** in **302 brain regions**.
