Calbindin KD Mouse – Experimental Cross
Output Details
Description
Calbindin-knockdown (CalbKD) animals were generated by crossing homozygous DAT IRES cre (RRID:IMSR_JAX:006660) mice with homozygous CalbTM2 mice (loxP sites flanking Exon1) donated by Prof. Meyer (University of Munich) (RRID:IMSR_JAX:031936), generating double-heterozygous offspring with decreased calb1 expression in DAT-expressing cells.
CalbWT control mice were age- and sex-matched heterozygous DAT IRES cre mice.
These experimental and control mice are not routinely maintained as a colony.
